“Two Souls and Two hearts but One love” – Leanne Wood
Getting married is one of the most intimate moments you can share with your partner in front of your loved ones. Yes a Wedding celebration is where two people decide to legally commit and dedicate their love for one another but in essence it is so much more than that.
The Heart and Soul of your Wedding day is your ceremony, and the promises that you and your loved one will make for your married life as husband and wife. Together you and I can craft your ceremony to be as individual as the people you are or you can choose a more traditional wedding ceremony if that is what you would prefer.
If you wish to write your own vows I will make sure that all your legal obligations are met. A Notice of Intended Marriage Form must be completed and given to me at least one month and one day before your ceremony and no sooner that 18 months before.

Ritual is a really special and unique inclusion for adding style and character to your wedding day. Listed below are just a few of many rituals available to enhance the meaning and memory of your wedding day.
- Ring or Flower Blessing - Rings are placed in a decorative organza bag or tied to a ring pillow, and passed around to the guests. Each guest is asked to bless the rings by way of a wish for the Bride and Groom. If done at the beginning of the ceremony, the rings usually make it back to the Celebrant in time for the ring exchange ceremony.
- Flower Blessing - Flowers can be passed out before the processional begins and guests are ask to take one and to think of a blessing for the couple and place it in the supplied vase (near where the Bride and Groom will stand). During the ceremony special mention is made to the bouquet of flowers and is symbolism. For example "just as many different species of flowers come together to create a beautiful bouquet so to do the loving blessings of your family and friends"
-
Hand-fasting ceremony ("Tying the knot") - Hand-fasting is a general term for the symbolic binding of hands in matrimony. It is a marriage ritual popular in many cultures and was historically popular within Celts and Pagan communities. Using between 1 and 4 decorative ribbon or cord hands are tied together loosely to signify the marital union, then removed. Each year of the couples anniversary the ribbon or cord is tied with a knot (There are some variations to this ritual).
- Pebble ceremony - If your are having your ceremony on a beach or near a river guests are asked to find a small pebble and make a wish and place the pebbles in a vase which will hold the wishes for the marriage. Mention is made that the vase will be used to hold the marriage couples anniversary flowers which will remind the couple of their wedding day that their family and friends shared with them. Glass stones from an art store could be used instead of pebbles (There are some variations to this ritual).
- Rose ceremony - The Bride and Groom offer each other a single rose as a token of their love. The open rose is a representation of the couples hearts which are now open to the other in full devotion. The couple promise each other to use the rose as a symbol of the love for each other for the years to come. In the future if words are hard to find the gift of a simple rose will be a symbol that they are loved by their partner.
- Sand Blending ceremony - Sand Blending is a representation of unity. Each partner has their own vial of sand (coloured works well) which represents their life before marriage. During the ceremony each partner pours their sand into a larger vial to represent the unity of the married couple. Some couples may choose to use sand from a location of importance to them, IE partners coming together from different locations such as the East meets West coasts.
there are so many more beautiful rituals. For further information please contact me.
Your ceremony can be held at the location of your choice and on a day and time that suits you. Some ideas for locations are beaches, parks, backyards, public or private gardens, Winery's/Vineyards, Hot Air Balloon, Boat.
You may have a particular day in mind for your wedding day for example;
Valentines Day, Christmas Day or a New Years Eve wedding which is sure to be a Wedding Date to remember. Or perhaps a date that is significant to the Bride and Groom.
